Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the second-most populous city after Dubai. Located on a T-shaped island extending into the Persian Gulf, it serves as the nation’s political and administrative center. Home to the UAE President and major federal institutions, Abu Dhabi is a global hub for energy, finance, and culture. With significant oil and gas reserves and over a trillion dollars in assets managed through its sovereign wealth funds, the city has rapidly grown into a modern, highly developed metropolis contributing around two-thirds of the UAE’s economy.
